T-Maxx or Revo

Post by Beedo on Wed Oct 28, 2009 10:40 am

Ok I am ready to get my next truck and have decided on a traxxas 3.3. My problem is I dont know if I should get a T-maxx or a Revo. From what i hear thew are both awesome and the T-maxx has tons of hop ups available, but the Revo is more modern and stable and from what folks say will have the vast hop up following in a few months to a year. Also this reverse thing has me a lil worried is it very difficult to install reverse in the T-maxx? All input is welcome Mad

IMO the reverse is WORTHLESS. Not even worth it. I have it and have honestly NEVER used it. I like the maxx, I have bog bores, RPM arms, resonator pipe, motor saver air filter, 3.3 and all aluminum skid's. One BEAST of a truck. have only killed spur gears from my bad meshing skill.... With a little cash, the maxx is a great truck. I'm no racer so the revo is out of the question for me, and I love the wheelie poping action on the t-maxx.

I liked my t-maxx's they were a blast to drive and prefer themfor only one reason, looks.

I drove RAZORBURNS brushless revo and was amazed at the handling.
Its hands down got handling over a maxx.

I still prefer the Maxx tho

Just a Me thing
